Our mission
To grow clean, well-graded produce on the Chakwal plateau and get it to buyers at a fair price, without the layers of middlemen that squeeze both the grower and the customer.
Minhas Agriculture Farm was formally established in 1998 at Sarkal Myer, a short drive from Chakwal city. The first seasons were modest — wheat and gram on land that depended entirely on the monsoon, harvested by hand and sold at the local mandi.
Two decades of steady reinvestment changed that. Tube wells were sunk, a threshing yard and storage shed were built, and groundnut — the crop Chakwal is known for across Pakistan — became a mainstay of the rotation. A dairy herd followed, then machinery that we now share with neighbouring growers.
What has not changed is how the farm is run. Decisions are still made by the family that lives on the land, and the people who load a buyer's truck are the same people who sowed the crop.
To grow clean, well-graded produce on the Chakwal plateau and get it to buyers at a fair price, without the layers of middlemen that squeeze both the grower and the customer.
To become the reference point for barani farming in the Potohar region — a farm that neighbouring growers look to for seed, machinery and practical advice.
What we quote is what we load. Grade, moisture and quantity are checked before dispatch, and any shortfall is our responsibility to make right.
Chakwal sits on a dry plateau between the Salt Range and the Soan valley. Rainfall averages around 700 mm a year, most of it arriving in a short monsoon window, and the soil is a light loam that drains quickly. It is unforgiving land if you fight it, and productive land if you plan around it.
Our cropping calendar follows that rhythm: groundnut and fodder through the kharif season, wheat and gram through rabi, with land left fallow in blocks so moisture can build back up before the next sowing.
The family partners set the cropping plan, negotiate sales directly with buyers, and are on the land daily through sowing and harvest.
A permanent crew of tractor operators and field staff, supported by seasonal labour drawn from the surrounding villages at harvest.
Dedicated attendants for the dairy shed and goat pens, with a visiting veterinarian on a scheduled monthly round.
Buyers and partners are welcome to visit during working hours. Call ahead and we will walk you through the fields, the yard and the storage shed.
